Compass Brief 13-inch with Flight Nylon

The brief is to small for my MacBookAir. I returned it with no problem.

I have bought incase products before, and I recommend them highly. This case is strong and lightweight, perfect for those of us getting older and less "mighty".

Recently I've decided I want to appear unencumbered at work. Sleek and efficient, like a gazelle. I have been using a Tumi backpack for the last 10 or so years for travel and work needs, but I didn't like how it looked with my clothes. Particularly my blue Armani wool coat that I love so much. So I purchased this, and it's perfect. My 13" MacBook Pro, an iPad, a notepad, and a few bits of paperwork fit in the main compartment. My Scrivener ball point and a sharpie fit in the pen pouches, but my Apple Pencil does NOT. Passport, small change purse, and work badge fit well in the provided pouches in the outside pocket.

The ONE drawback is the other side could easily have a thin invisible zipper pocket and it would make a wonderful, fully functional briefcase with room for an envelope I need unwrinkled or I don't know, a bundle of cash I don't want everyone snooping every time I take my badge or passport out. I'll probably have my tailor add this and be fully happy with this bag for many years.

I found that the Compass Brief was very well made and fit my MacBook Air, charger and accessories great. The soft interior and the substantial zipper are it’s strong points. My only irritation was the nylon fabric. An older case from Incase was made of ‘canvas’ type material, which I prefer. However, I purchased this case from Incase because of the quality and would deal with the outer material. since protection and portability of the computer was of primary importance.

Great quality briefcase, I love how simple yet sophisticated it looks
